Bottle at a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles. Pours pale gold with a foamy, white head. It’s a bit crap, really. Somewhat papery, with white sugar, pale grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more cereal, paper, hay. Sugary, not very drinkable. Poor overall.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear light brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, malt, faint grassy hops. Taste is the same.

From the bottle. Sweetish malt. Moderately hazed copper wi H white head of small bubbles. Taste is thin malt with slight noble spicing. Lacks richness.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours amberish gold with a slight white head. Aroma is somewhat rich caramel with hints of grass/herb/spice. Med body pretty much. Flavor is spicy, malty, mildly grapey/fruity. It’s not dry, definitely not bitter, but it works.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours copper amber with a slight white head. Malty aroma with a possible touch of noble hop. Near med body. Flavor is bready caramel with a hop touch making me think of purple grape drink - not exactly Concord tho. It’s an ok drink for the style.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma is bready and fruit/herb/floral. Rather nice. Med body or so. Flavor is bready, Saaz, and arguably some fruit note in the background. Clean. Decent.
