Bottle from a French supermarket - many thanks, Anke! Clear yellow, quickly dissipating, frothy, white head. Aroma of lots of coriander, citrus, lemon, yeast, apple peel, unripe pear. Taste has sweetish maltiness of basic fruits, sour citrus, lemon & wheat, bitter coriander & pepper; spicy, yeasty, wheaty, grassy hoppy finish. Medium body, slick-soapy texture, fizzy carbonation. Unremarkable.

Bottle from a French supermarket - many thanks, Anke! Clear golden with a stable, thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of apple peel, unrip epear, pale malt, breadcrust, straw, honey. Taste has plain maltiness, apple & pear & some honey with a spicy accent. Yeasty finish, some grassy hops & unripe fruit. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. 'Plain' Ale.

Bottle from a French supermarket - many thanks, Anke! Clear amber with a lasting, thin, off-white head. Aroma of red apple, raisin, blood orange, herbs, liquorice, tobacco, caramel. Taste has sweetish apple, orange & toffee maltiness, low herbal bitterness well into the finish, a bit spciy with red fruit & vague sweet tobacco in the back. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Good effort.

375ml bottle corked, caged, clear ber appearance, thin white head. Aroma is surprisingly sweet, aged, barley wine oxidised citric orange. Taste is fairly clean and light with soft oxidised sweet malt, citric orange. Not that great.

Bottle in Laon. Great smooth caramellt beginning. Fresh, highly drinkable with a nice herbal smooth caramelly body. Hints of sourness & funk, caramel, moderate sweetish. Great and refreshing deep brew!

A reddish brown ale with a thick mocha head. In aroma, a smooth dark fruit malt with light oxidation, so-so. In mouth, a smooth dark fruits with honey, a bit old but OK. Tasted with GRM March 1 2013.
