La bière Rebelle est confectionnée par notre maître brasseur depuis 1999. Du surnom de Jeanne Hachette, célèbre pour avoir repoussé de la ville de Beauvais les envahisseurs bourguignons en 1472, cette bière représente fièrement le caractère picard.

375ml bottle corked, caged, clear ber appearance, thin white head. Aroma is surprisingly sweet, aged, barley wine oxidised citric orange. Taste is fairly clean and light with soft oxidised sweet malt, citric orange. Not that great.

Bottle in Laon. Great smooth caramellt beginning. Fresh, highly drinkable with a nice herbal smooth caramelly body. Hints of sourness & funk, caramel, moderate sweetish. Great and refreshing deep brew!

Sample, green bottle, 37,5 cl, from and with Luc Bourbonnière, savoured on March 1st 2013; eye: ruby with coppery reflections, clear, tiny ring of beige head; nose: slight hops, slight Madeira; mouth: caramel, Madeira, malt, finale in malt with presence of caramel, medium body, mildly sweet, thin; overall: too old FRANÇAIS Échantillon, bouteille verte, 37,5 cl, de et avec Luc Bourbonnière, savourée le 1er mars 2013; œil : rubis avec des reflets cuivrés, limpide, pas d’effervescence, petit anneau de mousse beige nez : très léger houblon, très léger madère bouche : caramel, madère, malt, finale en malt avec présence de caramel, corps moyen, plate, moyennement sucrée, mince en résumé : trop vieille

A reddish brown ale with a thick mocha head. In aroma, a smooth dark fruit malt with light oxidation, so-so. In mouth, a smooth dark fruits with honey, a bit old but OK. Tasted with GRM March 1 2013.

0.75l bottle from a wine shop somewhere in the Quartier Latin, Paris. Brownish colour, foamy off-white head. Malty, grainy with hints of chocolate, some herbal.medicinal hop flavours.

Bottled. Hazy golden. Salty hay aroma. Mid dry with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Doughy with some hay and slight medicinal notes. Growing bitterness. Pleasant and relaxed.

Hazy amber color; small frothy head. Mild aroma, lightly metallic, some dirty water, some cork. Quite simple caramel flavor, with light residual sugars; ordinary bitterness. Easy.

A hazed amber ale with a thick lacing off white head. In aroma, pleasant barley sugar aroma, a bit maderized but still nice. In mouth, a smooth sweetish caramel malt with notes of honey and herbs, oily mouthfeel, not bad. 750 ml bottle at a nice restaurant on St-Sulpice Street in Paris (6e), 15 euros.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Hazy deep golden with a white head. Lightly citrusy hops in the nose. Medium body, lightly sweet fruit, again a littel citrus - slightly oxidized. The finish is dry. 050211

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, spiced and slight herbal to vegetable. Sweet malty and slight fruity flavoured. fruity and mild spiced into the finish. Ends dry and malty. Smooth and fruity finish.
