Founded in Spring 2019 as Coast Beer Co by James Brown with the desire to create quality, hop forward alcohol free craft beer for the modern world.

We launched with a simple promise, to only make beer that we love. It's all about taste, quality and creativity. Using the finest ingredients, innovative yeast cultures and modern brewing techniques to create beers that are always alcohol free, vegan and never compromise on taste.

As an independent brewery we're free to experiment, push the boundaries and that’s exactly what we do. With new unique offerings available each year, we pride ourselves on the diversity and range of beer that we produce.

Changed name to BRULO Autumn 2021.

Beers were originally 0.0% but changed over to 0.5% early 2025 for “a much better quality beer, less sweet and more balanced”.

Can. Pale golden color with white head. Hoppy aroma with tropical fruits, light grapefruit. Taste is grainy followed by nice citrus hoppy bitterness. Good.

2/I/24 - 33cl can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ the Abeels’ place, BB: 28/IV/24 13:11, L4 (2024-12)

Pretty cloudy yellow blond beer, small irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, malty, cow fodder, a bit dirty, rotten fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty sourish, very fruity, some tropical fruits, a bit of citrus, mango, papaya, passion fruits, peaches. Aftertaste: very fruity, a little metallic, mango, passion fruits, juicy, nice acidity, oranges, a little sweet.

Can. Hazy pale straw. Oats, fruity hops, CO2, spruce. Quite hoppy, but light bodied and some raw grains. Quite nice!

opalescent pale yellow colour, medium sized white head, which collapses quite quickly; aroma of lemony-lemon zesty, tropical fruity,some piney, some boiled vegetables and grassy notes; taste is surprisingly hoppy with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and some canned sweet corny notes; a bit watery, but really good considering that it is a NA beer
