Can @ Bierbrigadier Eindhoven, cheers Casper! Quite clear orange golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is malts, initially I get a slight grainy hint somehow, but then there’s hop and piney hops. Taste malts, piney hops, bitter hops, nice sticky piney hoppiness and nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Nice!

Can. Frothy White good mostly deminishing head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Grape and pine notes. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Oily palate.

Canned. Opaque light amber liquid. Moderate off-white head. Average retention. Malts give melon and honey to the aroma. The tropical fruit note a little subdued. minor starch. The same thing is going on while tasting. Light citrusy bitterness takes care of balance. Halfway successful. Medium body. Good drinkability and lacking charm.

blikvoer, amber/gouden met witte kraag. aroma is goed, fris, fruitig, sinaasappel, veel hop, grapefruit, zoet, sto, veel tropisch fruit. smaken zijn glad, matig tot redelijk bitter, redelijk zoet, wel lange bittere maar zachte afdronk, matige body, iets dun van textuur, verder ok

Keg at the brewpub. Pours deep brown-black with a creamy, beige head. Rich aroma with lots of dark malt character, strong roast, baking cocoa, scorched earth. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, with hearty chocolate, light ash, prunes, figs. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Big finish, with light alcohol warmth, some bitter scorched earth, more baking cocoa, burnt toffee, touches of molasses. Solid overall.

Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala. Pours clear yellow Aroma is grassy hops, some butter and onion, but very little of that. Body is medium, but shows more of the onion. Bitter, also some sweetness Palate is rather unbalanced. Not too bad.

Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala. Pours clear amber Aroma is piney, forest, some grass, also tropical fruits. Body is heavy, sweet, but rather unrefined. Bitter, lively carbonation. Lingering bitter palate. All not too bad, but lacking balance

Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala. Pours cleae yellow. Ah, here come the Belgians. A Triple indeed, sweet, but rather unrefined. Body is medium, also sweet, with a low bitterness and a lively carbonation, but it’s not adding up. Candy palate, too long for its flavours. Quite okay.
