Bottle from Albertsons. Hazy golden pour with thick foamy head. Smells like a wheat ale, fruit far in the background. Taste brings the fruit forward, but still fairly mild, with lots of the wheat base coming through. Gentle fruity finish.

Can from Brewers Haven. Big foamy outburst, very active. Pours a medium. Hold with abundant billowing head. Mild citrus nose on top of otherwise sweet malts aroma. Taste also favors the malts, grassy, not hoppy except for a tinge at the finish, almost minty. Decent weight and feel.

Can from Ales by Mail, drunk at home. Dark gold/amber, tiny little bit of white head and quite a bit of carbonation. Papaya, spruce and resin in the slightly muted bit still enjoyable aroma. Initial sweet taste, heavy on the maลt with more sticky resinous notes. Finish is really short, and palate is thin bordering on watery. But all in all itโs an excellent little pale ale.

1 pt 6 fl oz bottle bought at a Safeway in Mille Valley, CA. Clear dark golden in the glass with an one finger head. British style hopy on the nose. Taste starts hopy, mid bitterness, some malt in the background. Resin sequence in the middle part with some increasing citrus elements. Really fresh! Enjoyed it!

Keg at the brewpub, 29/01/16. Murky mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is dark fruit rinds, light spice, Belgian yeast esters, toffee, dates. Taste comprises tangy dark fruit, boozey Xmas cake, yeast trace, toffee, light spice, raisens, dried dates. Medium + body, fine carbonation closing with a tangy dark fruit rinse. So so ... unrefined - too bitter and sharp in places.
