Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to light orange color, small to medium sized off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste malts, some bitterness, not much more. Easy to drink, lightly bitter finish, no flaws. Low to medium carbonation and body.

Deep brown beer carrying an olive sheen under a small cream-coloured head featuring the same greenish hue. Liquorice, parsley, lots of melanoidins even in aroma, molasses. Liquoice explosion with sweet and salty drop. Overall very sweet with a dull roasted bitterness. Slightly sharpish MF, better carbonated than it looks; quite slick but not really well-bodied. Aftertaste has sweet alcohol, as cheap fortified wine. Dear people from Columbus Management. You started off with three excellent beers. Now you ’ve added a duo, and they turn out overwrought, pompous, unidimensional and utterly devoid of interest. Find the common factor of the first 3, the one of the two others, and know what to do...

Huge, just off-white head, leaving lace over hazed straw to ochre beer. Bit sweetish, near wey-like nose, soft chees, and a dash of peppery hops. Sharpish - herbal hops with a flavour of liquorice. Faint bitterish, but not very aromatic hops on a good heap of sweetish pale malts, cookies. Feels very carbonated, on the verge of adding some acidity, spritzy; sharpish MF. Medium bodied, gristslickness. Not very distinctive, and IMO, a steep dive below what I experienced before from Zonderik. Shame, really, they were getting exceptional.

33cl bouteille, BB 07-09-2013.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of anders37. Pours a hazy golden with a tiny white head. Fairly decent malty nose with a little flowery German hops. Medium body, a good maltiness and a bitter finish. For Belgium this is a surprisingly good take on a German-style Pils. 040113
