Draught at Be.Re., Roma. Lightly cloudy, pale gold colored. AROMA- meadow herbs, touch of mint, a bit citrusy, a bit dill, malt. FLAVOR- dry, moderately bitter, meadow herbs, coconut, touch of citrus. Medium bodied. Good.

From tap at L’Elementare, Rome, 08.08.21. Clear golden. Dense and persistent white head and lacing. Superb aroma and taste of ripe mango, pineapple and Sevilla marmalade. Well-balanced.

From tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà in Rome 08.08.21. Cloudy golden. Dense and persistent white head and lacing. Complex aroma and taste of sorrel, lemon peel, papaya, pale malt and the appropriate hint of cat pee. Good!

From tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà in Rome 08.08.21. Translucent pale straw colour. Dense and persistent ff-white head and lacing. Excellent aroma and taste of lemon and lime marmalade and dry hopping. Light mouthfeel. Perfect for a warm summer day like today!

Keg at the Great British Beer Festival 2017, day one - London. Pours rich brown with a staunch, mocha cream cap. The nose holds milk chocolate, light roast, light ash. Medium sweet flavour with notes of blackberry, sugary chocolate, mild ashy roast, raisins. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Sweet finish, lightly sticky, gooey chocolate, more raisins. Good stuff.

Slightly darker than golden with a bit of haziness. About one finger of frothy white head. Thinner than i expected, but shows good enough retention and nice lacing. Aroma shows dominant fruitiness (strong grapefruit, possibly a peachy hint) among a grassy, slightly piney feel. Nicely fresh and intense, not very deep. Taste follows the aroma closely; again, reasonable freshness and intensity, not much depth. Malts provide are very much neutral base that gives way to a semi-piney semi-grass feel with strong grapefruit and slight peach notes. Medium sweetness and medium to high bitterness, with very good balance in the mouth and the slightest bittering edge in the finish. Clean, semi-dry aftertaste. Medium body, average soft-bubbled carbonation, resulting in a quite easy mouthfeel. Overall: satisfying and enjoyable in terms of freshness, but not very deep/interesting.
