Dull gold colour. No head. Grainy nose with a vague hop extract note. A little sweetish, a little fizzy. Really hollow body, disappearing in the finish. Not offensive but just another pale lager. I was able to drink several of these at a peso bar in Santa Clara, so it has at least some staying power.

Pours gold with a white and fizzy but fleeting crown. Very little aroma - a bit of malt with faint honey undertones. Taste is metallic, lightly malty, with a distinctive sugar sweetness that lingers on the tongue, although the finish itself is entirely forgetful and trends towards being watery. Light bodied with average carbonation. An unoffending companion to food. Something spicy might pair well with the lingering sweetness of this brew. Boring on its own.

Can, 355 ml, best before 30/06/2015, gift from Julie Trépanier, savoured on December 21 2015; eye: golden, clear, no effervescence, white head that disappears completely, no lacing; nose: corn, caramel, malt; mouth: corn, caramel, malt, light unpleasant acridness, finale in corn with presence of unpleasant acridness, light body, rather carbonated, mildly sweet, acrid texture; overall: quite ordinary FRANÇAIS Canette, 355 ml, meilleure avant 30/06/2015, cadeau de Julie Trépanier, savourée le 21 décembre 2015; œil : dorée, limpide, pas d’effervescence, mousse blanche qui disparaît complètement, pas de dentelle; nez : maïs, caramel, malt; bouche : maïs, caramel, malt, légère âcreté déplaisante, finale en maïs avec présence d’âcreté déplaisante, corps léger, plutôt carbonatée, moyennement sucrée, texture âcre; en résumé : b’en ordinaire

Bottle at Tuesday Share, Taphouse, Copenhagen - (my first Cuban beer!) clear yellow pour with small white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and grainy, some straw and hay, light and watery, not as bad as expected tbh.

Bottled. A yellow beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt and cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of cardboard and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

35.5 cl can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight grainy. Bitter, grainy and toasted. Flat cornish and straw finish.

3a cata RateBeer Cimmeria Oviedo 26..10..2015. (r423). Lata 33.7 cl. Fc pref 04..09..2016. Lote 11..01b3l906 color rubio con espuma blanca. Ligeramente maltosa algo de citricos y herbaceos muy suaves. Lo más parecido a beber un trago de agua, y eso que es "fuerte" con unos 5.2 vol que. No se notan. Refrescante y casi ni eso. Sin mucho que aportar.

Il gusto al naso è di orzo e poi di luppolo. L’intensità olfattiva è normale e la persistenza olfattiva è discreta. Il cappello di schiuma è una velatura compatta. La frizzantezza è di bollicine fini. La carbonazione è vivace ed insistita. La consistenza del liquido è limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L’amaro è medio. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è pulito e semplice.

Can taste on the 14/09/2015 at Cienfuegos (Cuba). Cuban beer in a cuban atmosphere....great atmosphere bad beer and very similar to Mayabe. Next one please!
