Blikje aan de bron gekocht. Kleur is zo goed als zwart, de kraag fijn en lichtbruin, redelijke retentie. Geur van drop, roggebrood, geroosterde mout, dank hops en misschien een vleugje honing. Retronasaal is het droppig, bitterig, hoppig, toast, roggebrood. Smaak is redelijk bitter en iets zoetig, droppig. Zachte koolzuurprikkeling. Medium body. Droppig bitterige finish. Een beetje messy, maar wel lekker.

330ml can from Gollem, Raamsteeg. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, fresh, toffee caramel, light woody hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Hazy pale golden colour, good frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma pale malt, wort, lemon, goose berries, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, lemon. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, fresh sweetbitter aftertaste, citrusy notes, refreshing, well-made, okay.

Heldere goudgele body met een witte kraag. Geurige, leafy, grassige en citrus hops in de geur Smaak is bitterig en een tikje fruitzurig. Lichte body. Fijne droogbittere finish die lang blijft hangen. Zo lekker dat ik er nog één nam, en dat gebeurt niet vaak.

Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, orange, kumquat, passion fruit, light spicy notes, some pine resin. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, bit peppery on the tongue, well-balanced, tasty, really good.

(Draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2025) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, black bread, dark chocolate and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, chocolate, liquorice, black rye bread and a balanced roasty bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. A bit on the sweet side, but tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Kleur is hazy goudgeel, met een witte kraag waar een klein laagje van overblijft. Geur is vrij dank, kruidige hop, iets fruit. Retronasaal is het dank, iets, zoet en wat fruitig, al zou ik er geen kimquat of passiebes in herkennen. Smaak is licht zoet en licht bitter en wat fruitig. Medium body. Medium bitter finish.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Nicely bitter with lots of grapefruit, fruity hop, zesty orange peel, light biscuity malt. Long firm bitter finish with a little sweetness, medium body. Quite nice!
