Pours a deep dark brown body and a firm light brown head with good retention. Aroma's: roasted malts, toasted bread, rye bread, light red fruit. Retronasal there's a bit more fruit. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate roasty bitter. Medium bodied. Lots of roast in the finish, above moderate bitter.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is spicy and quite herbal with coriander, fennel, malt, clove, spicy yeast, hint of banana. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. A bit too heavily herbal and spiced for my taste, but overall a well-brewed Tripel.

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, espresso, some liquorice, ash, light fruity tones. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a bitter finish. Body is only a little above medium. Nice Stout, as an Imperial it leaves something to be desired. Nicely roasty with coffee and dark chocolate, bitterness is a bit harsh and unbalanced.

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is stone fruits with sweet peach, hops, and pale malt. Flavour is pretty sweetish with a mild bitterness. Body is medium. Not much of a NEIPA, lacks dank hops. Bit too sweet as well, but decent beer.

Can. Sweet with lots of caramel, toffee, milk chocolate, vanilla, tiramisu. Sweet pastry flavour, medium to full body. Not really tasting the 13%.
