Muted hop aroma come from this hazy orange brew’s minimal off-white head. The flavor is more that of an APA or less. Not bad but I was expecting hops since this is labeled as an IPA.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Completely opaque black with a light brown head. Aroma of hard roasted malt with a vinous touch. Pours very thick and almost syrupy with sweetish burned malt, vanilla notes and dried fruit. Not much bitterness in the finish, but extremely smooth and pleasant. 201008

I really wanted to rate this more highly but after 2 samples, and certainty over the second one’s freshness, I can’t say I love it. Pale gold color. Dirty and soapy nose. (is that an oxymoron?) Touches of sulfur and spucy hop in the flavor. Malts are grainy. Finish has a light bitterness otherwise pretty empty.

Wow, I thought I’d never even see this beer in person let alone get a chance to try it. tpd975 can make anything happen, thanks buddy. It pours deep darkness with thin brown head. The aroma seems a bit mild but does build big chocolate notes, some roastiness burnt molasses followed by some hotness in the nose. Smells mighty fine. The taste is bold yet somewhat melded together with punchy smoothness coming from dark chocolate, coffee, molasses, some caramel and yummy richness on the palate. Midway and into the finish it dries out a bit with malt roastiness and burnt malts giving up mild amounts of malt astringency. Very yummy indeed.

OIly black body. Chewy, toffeeish aroma with slight cherry. Very syrupy body, very sweet with light smoke. Simplistic but has some appeal.

Bottle courtesy of growler. Pours dark brown/black with brown head. Aromas of chocolate and burnt malts. Flavors of coffee, caramel and chocolate. Full body with a thick, oily mouthfeel. A bit too much crabonation but still a very good beer.

Orange with a light tan head. Nice aroma of citrus hops, caramel malts, and light earth. Smooth body and not overly carbonated. The flavor seemed inspired by the UK; biscuit malts, lightly toasted, and some crisp citrus hops. Solid.
