Description

On tap at Pffgen, pours a clear bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma is clean and crisp, with gentle grassiness and straw. Flavour follows, with a very clean, more bitter grassiness than most kolschs, finishing with a crisp, clean and somewhat long bitter finish. Drinks more like a pils, which is probably why it's rated the best German kolsch. Very good.

It's so easy to dip into a place for a 200ml Kölsch. I always thought it was an exceedingly boring beer style but I can see the value! Very pleasant.
