Bottiglia. Il naso viene catturato da caffè tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone castagno resiste poco e termina con merletti sul bordo del bicchiere. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio in buon equilibrio con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, caffè, liquirizia, nocciola, frutta secca e agrumi.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso rimanda allo speziato. La finezza olfattiva è elevata, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il piano sottostante è di apparenza limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono anche la forma del perlage, con carbonazione nella media. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è pronunciato e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, crosta di pane, agrumi, spezie, pepe nero e arancia amara.

Hoppy aroma of biscuity malt, caramel, apricot, grapefruit, more tropical fruits, flowery notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Body is full. Extremely well-balanced, this is a beautiful beer. I didn’t expect to be floored by this one, but it happened!

Original rating 2014: Hoppy aroma of citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, tropical fruits. Flavour is light sweet leading to a dry bitter finish. Extremely well-balanced, quite fresh. I could drink kegs of this. Fantastic IPA. ******* ReRate 2018: I thought I might have overrated this because of limited IPA experience back in 2014, but I'm pleased to report that I still find this incredibly good, especially after having burned out on juicy NEIPA. This is very much how I prefer my IPA, tropical and citrussy hops with pine resin, bittersweetish with a malt backbone, fairly West Coast.

Aroma of biscuity malt, fruits, citrus, yeast, a little spiciness, some hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light to moderate bittersweet finish. An okay Saison, though it could have done with some tartness. *** 02-07-2017 Bottle a year past expiry date given as a freebie. Very drinkable still, ironically this has gained what appears to be a mild tartness. Lots of apricot. Has aged gracefully.

Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, smoke, tobacco, some peat. Flavour is light sweet with a dry and moderate bitter finish. Body is on the light side. Enjoyable.

Aroma of dark malts, liquorice, some coffee and chocolate, dark fruits, raisins. Flavour is sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. A bit boozy. This is a tasty but definitely not top tier Imperial Stout.

Aroma of tart raspberry, brett funk, sour grapes. Flavour is tart and sour with a light sweetness. Wonderful tart raspberry sour ale, quite delicious.

Il cappello di schiuma Il manto birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato prevalgono impressioni di miele, frumento, agrumi, arancia, spezie, zenzero, bergamotto e coriandolo.
