Almost clear nutty in the glass with no head Good intensity in the aroma. Some strange perfumed notes though Soft carbonation level. Quite balanced sweetness Fruity, toffee and candy flavor with a solid malty backbone Not to inviting at first. But got really better after a while out in the free world [Bottle from You´ll Never Walk Alone in Kolding, Denmark]

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a medium brown head. Aromas of light tobacco, cocoa, some roasty notes, licorice, some sweeter vanilla like notes. Taste is pretty roasty up front, some fruity bitter coffee, licorice, dark sweet fruits, some oaky barrel character.

Sample @ Voldby Ølfestival 2016. Pours clear dark brown with a medium offwhite head. Notes of toffee, caramel, toast, light estery in some way, bitter citrussy finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Comes a slow and steady gusher. Pours a cloudy opaque deep nutty brown with a dense, lacing and creamy yellowish head. Greasy bRitish hop aroma, blending in with some nice toffee accents. Rich, sweet, malty body, dried fruit and toffee. Kinda nice if not for those horrible hops. 091019

Bottle @Øllets Dag, Fredericia. Nealy black, beige head. Roasted aroma, light jammy notes, a little sour rag, dusty. Roasted, slightly jammy flavour with light hoppy bitterness.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey brown with a dissipating off-white head. Dusty, nutty, strawberry jam in the nose - very odd. Medium body, fizzy, estery, phenollic - no real banana - some bubblegum and a late tartness and that's how it ends. Fizzy indeed. Certainly drinkable, but for the style it certainly misses the target. 020719
