Tap. Clear gold nice with a lovely dense white head that lasts all the way. Aroma - Mandarin some passionfruit, light biscuit. Moderately sweet and fruity; the biscuit is merely supportive and a little sweet.Dry & q bitter at the end. OK but a little dull really.

500ml bottle muled back from Australia. Pours very dark brown with a little white head. Lots of orange, grapefruit, lemon, touch of chocolate malt and some roastiness. Very peppery finish. It’s pretty nice, but at 8% I’m just expecting more. More flavour, more body, more oomph. As it is, pretty nice is about all I can say.

(Bottle) Clear ruddy amber with thin off-white head. Nice aroma - toffee, nuts, toast, herbal hop notes. Medium body with good carbonation. Good rich taste that evolves through the palate. There’s some robust dark toffee sweetness throughout. There’s nutty and biscuity notes especially at the start. Hops are present throughout, evolving from a pleasant herbal note at the start to some nice bitterness in the finish that balances the sweetness. There’s some quite rich notes - raisins, cough syrup, port. Very nice beer.

Bottle. Amber with a white head that lasts OK. Aroma of caramel syrupy, grapefruit and other vague citrus, some pasture. Smooth with moderate to low carbonation. Not as dominated by caramel as suggested by the aroma - there’s some clean pale malt there too. The grapefruit too is clearer and fits in well enough. Bitterness is restrained but lingers. Not really my sort of thing but OK.
