From a 500ml bottle on 2/5/2017 (shared by Butz, with thanks). Pours a clear very dark red with a medium head. The nose is huge and dominated by coconut. Take a sip and there’s lots of cherry and a bit of raspberry, followed by a powerful coconut finish. The cherry is more tart than sweet, but all up, it’s quite nicely balanced, and has a bit of Cherry Ripe to it.The palate is creamy and the carbonation average. This is a pretty impressive, successful experiment.

Tap. Clear gold nice with a lovely dense white head that lasts all the way. Aroma - Mandarin some passionfruit, light biscuit. Moderately sweet and fruity; the biscuit is merely supportive and a little sweet.Dry & q bitter at the end. OK but a little dull really.

500ml bottle muled back from Australia. Pours very dark brown with a little white head. Lots of orange, grapefruit, lemon, touch of chocolate malt and some roastiness. Very peppery finish. It’s pretty nice, but at 8% I’m just expecting more. More flavour, more body, more oomph. As it is, pretty nice is about all I can say.
