Taster at GABS Sydney 2015. Dark beer with flimsy head (it is only an 85 ml glass). Really really peanutty, probably too much for me. It’s a bit gimmicky but fun.

Not familiar with the Kolsh style so 1st try. If I compare to normal golden ale certainly a bit more flavour. Summer drop.

Yes loses carb but not really an issue. Some pine but more grapefruit and malt. Better than most.

Nice looking beer, lacing completely covers the glass. All else is very subdued, light. If you want a big, meaty stout, go elsewhere.

A bit on the dark side, but plenty of citrus tartness and hop bitterness to go around. Malts shine clean throughout.

Light, but missing most of the kolsch style. No crispness, no hop bite. As noted earlier, kind of bland

Tap at brewery. Light aroma, normal weizen smell. Airy head dissipates quickly. Taste is right on the money, banana, bubblegum clove, etc. Overall, it comes off as light bodied, not thick and chewy like the German greats. Good effort though, taste is right on.
