Schooner on tap at Beverly Hills Hotel. I assume that this is the right beer as the beer tap has no number. Nose is lightly bitter, fresh and fruity. Hazy Amber beer with a creamy white head. High fine carbonation. Good body, viscous and luscious. Slight fizz, flavour of caramel and nettles. Pine needles and herbal dankness in the finish. Great beer, really delicious and moreish.

(Bottle) Pours black with a small dense tan head. Nice aroma - chocolately. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation. Pleasant taste, sweet chocolate and light malty lager. Very low bitterness. Lacks complexity but very drinkable.

No head on still golden body. Floral aroma. Medium bodied, sticky & slightly sparkling on the back. Sweet citrus, banana, jam & confectionery tastes. Yuk!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a dense, white head leaving laces. Very vague citrus aroma. Light in body - as could be expected - a dry fruitiness, some yeast notes and a dry finish with some subtle bittering hops. If this was born with fresh aroma hops they're long gone by now. 181219

From a 375ml bottle on 20/11/2109 (2019 bottle, ABV 5.2%, 2019 AIBA gold medal sticker on the neck). Pours a clear dark brown with a medium head. Has a pronounced malty nose. Flavours are chocolate, cola and mild roasted malt. Definitely on the sweet side with just the barest hint of bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Pleasant enough but didn't blow my hair back.

From a 500ml bottle on 15/9/2019. Pours a murky apple juice colour with virtually no head. Has a fairly sharp spicy nose. Flavour wise, there's bugger all sweetness, with the claimed mango and pineapple barely presenting. Finishes with a quite salty, spicy and astringent bitterness which these days seems to be the hallmark of a bad NEIPA. Medium bodied with prickly carbonation. Harsh and a touch unpleasant.

Glass at the brewpub, Manly. Handpull from cask. Pours a golden amber with zero carbonation. Solid thin white head, nose is sweet and hoppy. Really smells English. Nice lacing. Mouthfeel is smooth as silk, this is super easy drinking. There's a hint of refreshing bitterness throughout but the finish is mostly sweet and nutty. It's a superb English pale ale with some late biscuity notes.
