Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 3/5/2017. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Big tropical fruit character, grassy hops, berry sweetness and a solid malt base, before a lingering, dryish, finish. A very good beer.

Cask half-pint on 30th June 2017 in The Station, Oakengates. Golden pour, bright golden in fact, white head. Citrusy aroma in a dirty farmyard, taste also citrusy and again with a mucky farmyard feel to it. Didn’t take to the beer at all.

Cask @ Queens Head, Kings Cross, London. Very dark clear golden ale with a thin head. Has a fine, easy-drinking pale ale texture with a dryness and a light fruitiness.

[ As Neepsend Mandarin ].Unclear matt medium yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, perfume, orange - mandarin. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, mandarin, perfume, sweet malt, pale malt. Pale golden color with a white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mild citric, fruity, herbal and malty flavor. Nice and refreshing bitter.
