Greenhead Beer Festival 2025, Beer#4. Slightly danker golden coloured session brew, but maintains a decent hoppy fruitiness, with more of the fruitiness, in both aroma and taste.

Can picked up at the brewery. Lovely rose pink colour with a nice dense pale pink foam. Easy 9. Nose has light tart fruit and plenty of wheat. Taste is lightly tart with noticeable salinity. Light bodied with soft foamy carbonation. Bit thin on the finish. Ok enough but overall it’s a bit wheaty.

Can picked up at the brewery. Murked up deep gold. Slim off white foam is lasting and semi lacing. Juicy sweet stone fruit on the nose. Peach nectarine and gage. Decent malty backdrop is light on the oats and wheat although there’s definitely a presence. Taste is pleasantly bitter with some wheat sweetness. Easy drinking overall. Bitter finish gets a little zesty and pithy. Nice one.

Can. Dram Shop Sheffield. Mostly clear pale gold. Very sturdy bubbly just off white foam. Nose has wheat first up. On top there’s pineapple and stone fruit. Bit of a worty thing going off which spoils things a little. Taste is a little dry and fairly bitter overall. A bit soda-ish on the palate with quite high carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. A bit under par compared with some other recent offerings. Not bad mind.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with minimal scummy almost white head and good lacing. There’s malts, pine and nuts in the aroma plus traces of honey. In the mouth in fluctuates between malty sweetness and bitterness of alcoholic strength with a creamy / cloying texture. Flavour also has marmalade and autumn fruits with hints of lemon juice. Finish is quite dry. This is decent enough – if a bit rough.

Can picked up at the brewery. Re-brew obviously. Hazed glowing gold. Decent sticky white swede. Nose has pineapple flesh. Soggy stone fruit. Bit of pine. Brioche malts. Taste has similarly bready sweetness first up with solid citrusy piny bitterness. Drinks very easy with a bit of twang. Decent bitter finish.

Can picked up at the brewery. Mostly clear medium gold. Slim white foam. Nose has sugary malt. Some ripened citrus. Bit of pine air freshener. Taste has some sweetness first getting nicely bitter. Clean and easy drinking. Decent bitterness to finish. Aroma is slightly off for some reason but otherwise it’s a good easy drinking affair with solid bitterness.

Can picked up at the brewery. Moderate haze on a pale gold. Slim white swede stays the course. Nectaron is up front here. Squishy and fleshy. Nice clean citrus twang. Clean dry grain backdrop. Taste has some sweetness but is mostly zesty and twangy on the bitterness. Fresh and refreshing overall. Good bitter finish. Nice.

Cask at Ealing Beer Fest 25. Clear gold. Frothy foamy white head has a bald spot. Aroma has sweet but citrusy notes. Grains and malts. The flava is similar with additional syrupy fruit sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Nice enough.
