Can. Dram Shop. Re-brew for the 10th anniversary. Looks good. Clear dark brown pour sits black. Slim bubbly super dense tan foam. Nose has cocoa rich chocolate. Light ashy roast. Taste is light sweet with some dry roast bitterness. Smooth overall. Semi bitter finish. Nice.

Can. Dram Shop Sheffield. Clear (eh?) pale to medium gold. White froth is messy lasting and lacing. Malts come across a tad buttery. Big hoppage, as promised. Piny and zesty. Bit of sweet preserved lemon. Taste is pretty sweet and a little buttery. Hit of bitterness. Smooth and oily. Bitter finish. Bit like the Neepsend of old which I’d always swerve.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed, verging on murky dark coppery red. Slim super sticky just off white foam. Nose has sticky toffee malts. Bit of a toffee apple vibe. Nice juicy leafy citrus hoppage. Sweet and fruity first off with a pretty big sappy citrus bitterness. Good depth of flavour thoughout. Lingering bitterness to finish. Not a million miles away from Celebration Ale tbh, which given the colour of the can could be intentional. Nice one.

Half cask at The Fat Cat. Clear golden pour, creamy head settles out to a fine film. Mildly sweet aroma, malty, caramel. Taste mirrors the aroma, caramel, sweet, grainy and oh so creamy. Absolutely delicious.
