0.75 litre can: BBD Oct 15. Brewed in Hamburg according to the labelling. Poured out at home on 28th Dec 14 and shared with a friend. Deep copper rather than golden, clear, clean and well carbonated, good white crown on both glasses. Aroma was of light maltiness, grainy but also slightly sweet with a caramel smell. The taste was also malty, semi-sweet and grainy. Not bad for the price, from a cheap supermarket in Hamburg.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, Karamell. Geschmack leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, fruchtig.

Light amber with a clean filtered appearance. 1 cm compact foam quickly disappearing and leaving a lacing. Aroma of light malt (German way) and grass. Tastes of bread malt, honey. Final bitterness and floral notes. It is not a pilsner but very drinkable. I have enjoyed it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,5 l bottle, brewed and bottled in Germany. Clear light amber in the glass, nearly white short living head. Hay and sweet malt on the nose. Starts malty, light sweetness. Don´t know why it´s called Pilsener. Not very herb. No long ending. Easy to drink but nothing special.

500ml bottle. Clear amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious caramel malty aroma, dry, husky, metallic overtones. Taste is expressionless metallic, dry malty.

Also had the German version, 5.0% ABV. Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, small head. Starts mild, almost washy. Modest malty woth moldy notes. Finish a bit drier, but still very mild. Nothing special.

Catch up rating from notes, 2012: 500 ml Bottle from German market, well before Christmas (it's still fest season!). Light amber pour, foamy head dissipates quickly. Aroma is sweet malts, some fruitcake notes. Taste is more of the malty sweetness, with some savory notes thrown in, peppery. Solid amber with a nice snap.

Light brownish gold color with aromas of toast and light caramel. The flavor has a vanilla and green hoppiness.

Test vom 27.11.2004, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,6,7,7,7 - 6,80
