Podere La Berta Craft Beer is the project that unites two territories, Tuscany and Romagna, to discover the great classic brewery styles and at the same time seek new trends, without forgetting the profound agricultural and wine-making culture of the territories from which we come.

PLB Craft Beers are the ideal marriage between written history and history yet to be made, between passion for crafting and imbibing in a good beer sitting at the bar of a pub, during a football match in autumn mud, or on a surf-lapped beach.

375ml compact dark green bottle with a cork wire, kindly shared by Finn. Opens with a good shot followed by smoke. Snow white head, near-clear golden body, spotty lacing. Saison like smell, with a scent of yeasty fruitiness. Flavoured with grapes, saison like fruits, and yeast. Vinous impression. Smooth fruity, mid-sweet and mid- dry end. Pleasing. (Vervet, Tromsø 11.01.2023).

Varm gylden. Litt uklar. Middels høyt skum som daler raskt. Sprudlende. Vinøs aroma. Epler. Smaken lett syrlig. Mere epler. Ekstra uklar siste kvelling. Gjennomgående vinpreg. Så vidt litt bitterhet langt uti avslutninga.

Notater fra Mi2 okt-22: etter 10 (!) fatøl er vi nå over på kveldens første flaske; lett uklar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Banan, gule druer og litt krydder (hvit pepper?). Slank, elegant og med en helt tydelig mersmak. Den utforsker et interessant grenseland mellom øl og hvitvin.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours slightly hazy golden with little white head. Aroma of citrus, honey, some peppery notes. Tastes slightly sweet with fruity sourness. Thin bodied, alcoholic warmth.

375 ml corked & caged green bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6.2%. Pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Nice aroma of "spicy" saison yeast, and white grape must or white wine of "spicy" grape varieties, notes of cellar and oak. Very dry and crisp flavour, notes of brut sparkling white wine, some yeasty notes, the bitterness is very moderate.

On tap at Open Baladin Torino as Tropic Flanders. Yellow coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy nose. Sweetish fruity, yeasty, citrusy, notes of spices and touch of candy with sweetish finish.
