Med brown, kind of murky-looking. Not much head. Toasty, cocoa character, on the drier side with a surprising alcohol warmth in the finish. Not really my pocket of stout, I like them sweeter.

Pale, thin head, has that nice woody cascade nose and mellow spruce tips. Big spruce tip on the palate, lots of bitterness, big balancing pale malt. Good stuff.

Gold, bright. No head. That’s a lot of nelson on the nose. Fairly bitter for an all-nelson beer, clean pale malt. Well-blanced, lots of bright nelson.

Slight haze, and pale. Medium head. Yeah some tropical fruit character, and rich bitterness, bright cherry, blueberry accents. Pretty darn solid.

Bright gold, bright aroma of dried apricots, orange, pale malt. Well balanced, clean malt, orangey notes, grapefruit, wine gums, lychee. Medium bitterness.

Draft. Crimson beer with a cream head. Berry and tart aroma. Light sour ad berry flavor with lactose. Medium bodied. Light sourness and lactose linger with berry and light cinnamon.

16 oz can. Aroma is floral, grassy, light citrus, tea. Pours hazy golden with a one+ finger pillowy off-white head with excellent retention. Taste has a moderate (high for style) herbal hop bitterness with crisp, clean flavors. Probably the best “West Coast style” Pilsner I’ve had so far.
