Bottle from Independent Food and Drink, Amble High Street. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon barley water. Taste is quite strong grapefruit and lemon squash. Pithy bitter finish.

[ As Mordue Five Bridges ].
ABV: 3.6%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, light apple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180724]

11/5/2018. Straight from cask at the Station House, Durham. Pours golden amber with minimal head. Aroma of malt, fruit, caramel, hop and flowers. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Nice level of bitterness to finish. Decent sessionable ale.
