Tap at Harry's in Redwood City. Pours orange and slight amber with white head that leaves large bubbles across the top and slightly patterns. Caramel nose with slight pine. Taste is sweet and cloying. The alcohol is not hidden here and drinks moderately hot. Pine and tongue scraping resins. Massive bitterness. A little rough throughout and could try to clean it up a bit,

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours bright gold with a large creamy/foamy white head. Aroma of pale malt (what, I can smell it?), and some moderate tropical notes. Med body. Flavor is astringent oriented. Swear the malt, light tho it is, is involved. It's bitter. It's dry. It's reasonably or better hoppy. My tongue side edges are twinging. For such a mild first impression, it heads for tornado. Doesn't get there, but if you want tropical and bitter, I'd say this one's for you. Wow. An understated but powerfully flavored West Coast IPA. But what do I know? This stuff tastes great. That I know.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma is dankish pineapple/melon/citrus - not acidic - just tropical. Med plus body. Very hoppy. Dank. Melon/citrus/arguably pineapple. Very fruity - but not at all juicy. Pretty dry. Really bitter. Not a lot of malt support. Think this IPA is moving mostly on hops! I could almost ask for more malt support. But I won't! Great stuff.

Pours a very nice clear gold from a bottle, good lacing. Nose is some melon, a little pot and frankly a little sex, a fair amount of alcohol in the nose. Flavor doesn’t hide the alcohol, sweet and burny. Good beer.

An Oxford tasting
Golden and clean, with resiny hops aroma, moderate sweetness, lean malt base with some toffee, a bit of alcohol, and resiny hops in the final, bitter orange too.
Very good.

It's an okay American IPA. Just nothing that really stands out. For this beer this time hops our okay but not especially fresh the beer is somewhat balanced and good drinking just nothing to write home about.

Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours somewhat translucent gold with a white head that left rapidly. Aroma is vegetally dank. Reminds of highly flavored food - garlic? Med + body. Flavor starts a bit sweet, but rapidly moves towards dank. A bit fruity; fairly dry; very hoppy; bitter enough to please me. Very good stuff.
