Can. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma of mandarin, mango and pineapple. Some hayish pale malt underpinning the fruit. It's dryish with a fairly bitter and somewhat resinous finish. The pineapple in the aroma doesn't turn out to make the end astringent and the effect is of a pretty conventional US IPA rather than something especially fruit focused. But that just makes the marketing a bit odd - the beer is fine [sic].

Can. Almost black with a beige head. Choc-orange aroma with lychees, nectarines, brioche. Bittersweet taste follows with strongish slightly resinous bitterness. Lightish bodied - a little too so for me. But vibrant and lovely.

Hazy nice orange golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Looks fine. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Ok bitterness, just a bit to sweet. Mismatch. Dried fruits, pine and grapefruit hoppy flavor. A bit to sweet for my likings.

Can. An unclear orange-golden beer with a dense, beige finger-thick head. Some lacing. The aroma has a good dash of bready malts, but there's lots of piney, grapefruity and lightly orangey scents too. It felt malt driven at first, but it's actually not. It's full-bodied, nicely carbonated and semi-dry, with a good bitterness. It's a bit sweet I think, but at least there's enough bitterness to deal with it. Pine cones, grapefruit and orange, with a grassy touch, and a light malty backdrop. Long piney, grapefruity and bitter finish. Sort of old school, but sure a fine one. 180918

From a 355ml can on 16/9/2018 (shared with Butz). Pours a deep brown with a small head. Has a mild nose of chocolate, roasted malt and fruity hops. The flavour is pretty intense, with lots of dark and milk chocolate, hints of caramel and coffee, a whack of roasted malt, and some pretty firm hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A very hoppy black ale - almost a bit black IPA like in character. Would have preferred a touch more sweetness, but it's a relatively minor quibble. Very well made.

From a 355ml can on 7/9/2018 (ABV listed as 6.2% not 6.4%). Pours a clear golden with a small head. Has some fruit salad on the nose. Tastes mainly of passionfruit and peach, and finishes with a reasonably aggressive hop bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A solid enough, unusually clear NEIPA.

500ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Decent white head with lots of small bubbles. Crocheted lacing. Misty late straw coloured body. Smell of dusty hops and pine. Peachy flavours joined by orange and malty sweetness beneath. Smoothly dry bitter tail. Fine bodied. Like it. (Tromsø 15.08.2018).
