Description
La Cidrerie du Condroz is a cooperative with a social purpose based on strong values, focusing on respect for nature and the human. Our goal is to produce quality ciders and spirits while striving for balance and sustainability.
Our ciders are produced in the "old fashioned" way. It takes more than 10 months to get a bottle. We gently squeeze our apples and ferment the juice in barrels, slowly, for nearly 5 months. Like a Champagne, the sparkling is completely natural, thanks to a second fermentation in bottles. No sulphites, no aromas, no filtration... Only fresh and proper ripened apples!

Bottle shared at pre-Kingsday tasting. A bit hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste both are sweetish, soft apple peel notes, a decent hint of cinnamon, a moderately dry finish. Not too bad.

Bouteille 75cl. Bottle# 7210.

7 meter cork shootout at the beach. Quite sour, warm fruitiness, peachy, apricot, old apples, cinnamon sticks, Calvados BA boozy, almost gluey. Bit weird. Quite dry in the finish. Feels like fairly high abv (= 7%, feels like ~8.5%)
