330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Mahogany colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, brittle, burnt breadcrumbs. Rich flavour with the same elements, hints of prunes and chocolate, but not too sweet. Moderate hops. A nice bock.

Bottle. Warming, boozy, intense. Full bodied, smooth, yet edgy. Lightly oxidized, raisin, some burnt malts and dark dried fruit. Roasted, toasted, faintly oaked. Overall, nice, but will probably benefit from 5+ years of storage. 747415 251128

0,33 boks fra fjernlageret i Verksgata, hjemme. Et vakkert syn i mitt Orval-glass, klar kastanjebrun med fint skum som varer. Aroma og smak skuffer heller ikke, dette er en virkelig god bokkøl med deilig maltsmak kombinert med diskrete urter, mørkt brød og mørke sjokolader.

Backlog august 2016. Clear reddish body under a small pink head that fades quickly. Aroma of artificial candy berries with a faint hint of malt and yeast. Taste goes in the same direction with artificial berries, anonymous malt and some yeast. One dimensional and boring.
