Cask at White Hart, Tongham. Sweet, floral and grassy aroma, if low key. Bright gold. Whisps of a white head. Noticeably a lack of bubbles. Sweet with a light bitter vein running through it. Honey, canned fruit syrup, with spices and herbs. Medium bodied. Sticky. Light carbonation. Long finish, which highlights the bitter element it has. I enjoyed this - I find that lagers can be too saccharine and over carbonated. This was sweet but no chemically so and then pretty flat. Being sat out under the benefited it.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Nil aroma. A light brown. Decent creamy white head.Light bitter with an underlying sweetness. Malts and berries. Tinned fruit. Medium bodied. Short finish. It must have been the texture and carbonation that combined for a silky effect but would have downed it in one, despite the taste itself being subdued. Good one.

Tried at the Talky Ho. Eversley. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma light floral and citrus. Taste light bittersweet. Thin body.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Roast aroma. Glossy, dark with red tints. Creamy beige head, on the thinner side. Initial vague sweetness. Coffee roast bitterness. Dark chocolate in the mix. Some citrus into the finish, but the tangerine is never obvious. Relatively light. Slick. Does gain some creamyness into the finish. Astringent. All rather low key. Not so much a tangerines dream as it is tangerine ennui. Drops points for the astringent finish.

Pendle Beer Festival 2017. Extremely dark, its tangerine influence is light, but is inoffensive. Feels like a light tasting stout.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. An attractive copper coloured beer with a loose white head; old fashioned malty aroma; a citrus taste to start with a biscuit body, then some bitter orange marmalade to finish. A proper best bitter.
