(Cask at Pikkulintu, 20130716) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had citricness, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was bitter. The aroma was superb but the taste, especially its midlness, was disappointing.

Cask at Ealing. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Smell of hops, spruce and flowers. Amber colour, beige head. Nonexistant carbon. Aroma of hops and flowers, much milder than the smell. Nice character for such a mild beer. Well balanced.

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, riped fruit, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120504]

Cask-conditioned at the JDW at Victoria Station, 28/5/2013. Golden with a slight white head. Grapefruit and mago aroma with some decent hops. Flavour had some biscuity, slightly creamy malts, more tropical fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Very good.

On cask @ the Melville Inn, near Dalkeith, Edinburgh. Dark golden to amber with a decent head. The nose has malty biscuit with a faint hint of apple. More apple on the taste with still good malt profile. Medium bodied creamy fairly fresh on the palate with a big malt profile. A solid bitter.

Cask at the Claude Du Vall, Camberley, 11/05/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is caramel, grass, fruit notes. Taste comprises light caramel, hints of orange, light sugars, malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, touch of bitterness in a dryish finish. Adequate bitter.

Cask at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear, ripe copper-gold with a fine, creamy white head. Some smoked malts in the nose, light honey, bread. Medium sweet flavor with more smoke, candied ham, faint leafy bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation; not in awesome condition. Lightly sticky sweet to finish with further smokey-sweet ham, light fruits, honey, more bread. Decent but the lack of condition holds it back.
