Pint can at The Mousetrap - hazy amber - soft but full carbonation - the addition of the various fruit juices lightens the body and smooths out the barrel aging while retaining the deep oakiness of the barrel - the brandy aging is mildly sweet - deep and complex, but hiding under the tartness of cranberry - the black currant juice lends a lovey depth and compliments the brandy barrel-aging - dang, it’s good.

8 ounce at The Mousetrap - very pale, clear gold - looks like a Pilsner- lovely, soft, dry, moderately bitter, and lightly spicy - a nice departure from the overly-sweet, overly-estery versions you usually get from American brewers.

8 ounce at The Mousetrap - hazy pale gold - notes of melon, pepper, white tea, pear - lightly spicy - somewhere in between. Wit and a single - I dig it.

16oz can from Tavour order. Damn nice - hides the 9% well. Lovely taste - mild funk, floral quality. Definitely has a Belgian quality
