Brewery draught, 9/30/23. Dark, inky, no head. Rich bourbon and cakey malts, a bit more unfocused than the individual aspects. Vanilla, spice, bourbon and chocolate. Not boozey. Rich, soft, thick, syrupy. Sweeter, or less balanced than Phenom. Maybe too much going on? Vanilla and chocolate. Strong, rich, sweet but excellent barrel flavors. No booze.

Can at the brewery. Pours a pale orange gold with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is toast and cereal malt. Light body, biscuit, grass, light finish, very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong bourbon, dark chocolate, licorice, roast. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy heat finish, very good.

2022 can drunk 9/29/23. Inky, no head. Maroon edges. Nutty rye, spice, savory, rich, crunchy chocolate. Light lead with vanilla and more bourbon intensity in the balanced booze-free finish. Soft, rich, clean, chocolate-rye-vanilla-lead. Sweet and syrupy. Top tier stuff that checks all the boxes. Lovely barrel character, no booze.

Sample at GTMW 2023, 8/12/23. New brewery! Brewery # 2206, USA # 1802, MO # 24. Hazy pale orange, medium white head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, resin. Taste is lemongrass, pine, resin. Mild bitterness.
