Bottle @ home shared by Inoven. Dark broen to black color with a dark red glare coming through, full sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, some liquorice, light smoke. Taste malts, slightly smoke, liquorice again and a hint of soy sauce. Hmm don't know what it is but something annoys me about this beer.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen en Benzai. Zwart bier met beige schuim. Aroma van koffie en gebrande mout. Smaak is zacht, houtig en toch zoet. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Fles gedeeld door Inoven, geprobeerd met Benzai. Het is een donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een gebrnande geur met rokerige tonen. De smaak is chocolade, zoetig, koffie en een beetje rook.

Bottle from Wijnhuis Eindhoven, shared by Benzai. Wonderful appearance with its slight hazy golden color, medium frothy head and beautiful lacing. Thats all the positives I have to say about the beer. Or at least about a beer thats almost certainly labeled and not an IPA at all. 2 full negativity points.

Bottle @ home shared with Caesar. [Note: brewed at Van Steenberge so it’s likely to be an alias] Hazy yellow color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish initially, then some bitter, yeast. Tastes like a Belgian blond. Not an IPA at all, utterly ridiculous to label this an IPA imo.

Shared bottle at Kingsnight Avoidance Tasting. Black with tan head. Sweet roasted malts. Milky chocolate. Quite alcoholic. Light sweet medium bitter. Thin body. Light carbonation.

Bottle at Kingsnight tasting. Very dark brown with nice tan head. Dry roasted notes, chalky, light goat droppings, hay, chocolate, soft coffee. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with lots of fizzy carbonation.
