At 3 Brasseurs Lille on way home from Acbf 2012. Very dark brown colour lasting beige head. Not sure its a stout. More a dark ale. Some choc some fullness. Yes too cold and a touch watery full some decent sting on finish. Its fine. some interesting malt some stingy carbonation. maybe a bit too fresh. fine

At Lille brewpub on way home from acbf 2012. Clear light brown beer with thin beige head. Dry malt aroma. malty aroma is fine. i mean all the beers are fresh and brewed ok. no off flavours. really acceptable with just enough chaeacter to make them interesting. some toffee caramel which is verg light and comes on the finish. its fine like all the beers here. competent.

At 3 Brasseurs Lille. clear pale gold thin white head. cereal aroma. touch of lager sweet malt in mouth. its fine. but dull. slightly above pale lager status but not a huge amount of flavour and character. touch of lemon. fine and yes fresh and good to have here. some yeast character even. if you dig deep enough its an ok blond. some spicy hop on finish. ok

At 3 Brasseurs Lille. At 3 Brasseurs Lille. hazy mid gold colour. Lasting white head. Cereal aroma. Its actually not too bad. Acceptable kind of wheat fereal hoppy beer. Fine if not too exciting. Fine to be honest and i would provably have a second one hoppy enough on finish to keep me interested

At 3 Brasseurs Lille. drunk coming back from acbf 2012. cloudy pale gold thick lasting white head. spicy witte beer aroma. bit thin in the mouth but holds its own. yeah actually its got some spice some lemon some character. a light refreshing blanche that i think works well.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Comes as: "Les 3 Brasseurs Brune". Pours a dark reddish brown with an off-white head. Roasty aroma, a little dark fruit as well. Medium body, roast, nuts and a whiff of vanilla. A little licorice too. Dryish finish. More of a Brown Ale. 090212

Bottled. A dark red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, malt, caramel, and roasted malt, leading to a dry finish.

bottle shared by ungstrup at ungstrups. clear yellow, sooth small white head. mild malty aroma, flowers. flavor is flowery, some bitter hoppiness, honey, spices. quite unusual flavor.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours golden with a slight haze and an off-white head. Perfumy chestnut aroma, kinda flowery. Medium body, heavy caramel and again these perfumy chestnut notes. I somehow doubt it’s all natural! A little late roast. But drinkable at least. 090212
