Draught at the brewpub in Lille
Ruby color, with pinkish head. Strong aroma of cherry pits and cherries; almonds. Ordinary beer, with some pleasant cherry syrup, very moderate residual sweetness, but the bitterness is a tad too high for a fruit beer. Even if I know that it’s a fake, it’s actually drinkable.

Bottled (2nd CS/ES Beer Gathering, thanks SV!). Dark ambery brown colour with a mediumsized yellowish beige head that leaves some lace. Aroma is malty, yeasty, a bit spicy and also has some rather strong roasted and ashy notes. Flavour is strong roasted malts, some caramel, mild spices, yeast and earthy notes. As it warms up the ashyness shows a bit more as well.
