0.33l bottle. Black body with a thin light brown head. Aroma and taste of chocolate, smoke, cherries, caramel and floral hops. Thicker than medium body with an oily texture. Not so complex but good nevertheless.

Tap at The Hoppy Pub. Murky yellow orange with dull hue and white head. Sour mango indeed, green mango, passionfruit, soft malts, green hops, papaya, sharp green ‘raw’ hops. Nice fruits and indeed also a lot of thick hops. Solid medium sour and bitter, underneath there’s medium sweetness too but the sour really kicks in first. Over medium bodied. It’s a bit rough because of all the sourness and some hop burn, not to drink in big quantities.

On tap in south Nicosia. Modest foam and clear brown body, nice smoke that is reminiscent of scotch whisky, lots of peat pushing through. Flavour is leathery smoke, chewy biscuit. Medium on the mouth, could be fuller. Otherwise a nice smoked beer, hitting all the cues in a good way.

25 September 2019. At Crop, Heraklion. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy black with a lasting, small, frothy, beige head. Aroma of vanilla (ice cream), tobacco, espresso, walnut, fondant, fig, toast, roasted nuts, cream. Taste is light malty sweet, restrained cream, brown bread, dark fruits & some nuts; bitter core of toast, coffee ground, smoky tobacco & earthy accents. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, lingering toast, roasted nuts & tobacco. Medium body, slick-creamy texture, soft carbonation. Good smoky notes in an intense Porter.

Aroma of roasted malts. flavor is roasted malts, smoked malts, faint charred wood. mineral waterish carbonation. Decent porter, slightly roasted - not sure i would call it robust though.

bottle from b for beer, chania, crete, greece. hazy orange, white head. very herbal aroma,in a way reminds me of hemp beer. mouldy note, green herbal note. flavor is mints, wheat, flowers. red hubbabubba bubble gum. sweet. you need to get used to it. i guess if you like hemp beer you might think this one is okay. Note aside, big kudos to the brewer for being original and trying shit out - this is the very first mastic beer i ever tasted (i think)

Bottle from b is for beer, chania. Aroma is perfectly german style smoked, like a schenkerla. Flavor tastes like smoked meat, more than schenkerla, also notes of flowers and caramel malts. If you fancy crazy smoked, then this one should not be passed. Tastes like warpigs, cph smells.
