Can from a French supermarket - thanks, mom & dad! Clear red, thick, foamy, pinkish head. Aroma of red candy, 'poepegatjes', sweet candied cherry, kids' yoghurt, lemon. Taste has very sweet candy, cherry & strawberry, doughy maltiness burying a very low herbal bitterness. Sugary sweet, fruity finish, very vaguely lemony sour, weirdly nice. Hint of fruity vodka alcohol. Medium to light body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Wouldn't have it again per se, but sometimes, just very rarely, I'm in the mood for a drink like this - just not as a real beer.

Can from a French supermarket - thanks, mom & dad! Hazy, actually clear, dark red, frothy, tan head. Aroma of Coca-Cola, caramel, dried banana, fruit syrup, apricot, red apple, bloody iron. Taste has sweet sugary toffee, Cola candy, red apple & candied banana, sugared tea. Slightly dry finish, low hoppiness, sugary, perhaps vaguely toasty. Light to medium body, slick-syrupy texture, average carbonation. Way too sweet for its own good but there is even worse out there. The fast food version of a Dark Lager and guess what, I had fast food with it... I don't mind for once.

Can from a French supermarket - thanks,, mom & dad! Clear dark golden, off-white head. Aroma of honey, white sugar, candied apricot, canned peach, pineapple, white rum. Taste has very sweet apricot, pineapple & honey in a candied, sugary, cloying kind of way, bit spicy phenolic bitter. Ends wort-like, malty, sugary, with warming white rum-like alcohol and virtually no hops. Medium body, oily-syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Too sweet, cloying, even oxidized perhaps.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A: tequila, lime / 2A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: medium-high artificial lemon-like aroma with a slightly sweet neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and translucent. medium-low white head, creamy, with average retention for the style. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium to medium-high artificial lemony flavor. neutral malt background. low bitterness with a sweet finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a flavored beer without tequila and too much artificial lemon.
