Tap at KEG Sörművház, Budapest. Poured almost black in colour with little life. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee and molasses. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, earthy, herbal, big dry spicy coffee, light warm alcohol, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can on the 'Balaton - NO Brush' charter train from Fonyod back to Budapest Deli, picked up from Beer Selection, Budapest, 10/06/23. Black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, charr, spice, molasses. Taste comprises dried fruits, roasted bite, hint of liquorice, charr, dates, dark chocolate. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Decent.

Can on the 'Balaton' from Budapest Deli to Fonyod, picked up from Beer Selection, Budapest, 10/06/23. Almost clear golden orange with an off white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is bitter orange, grass, citric tinged straw, mixed tropical fruit esters. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, tangerine, lemon rind, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spattered with earthy hop bitterness. So so affair ... a little harsh and unrefined.

Közepes, tömör, tartós hab, fekete szín. Illatában uralkodó a bourbon hordó, vaníliás jegyekkel, a háttérben csokival, kávéval, aszalt gyümölcsökkel. Csokis, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös, bourbonos, hordós, vaníliás ízek, némi földességgel. Inkább stout mint porter, bár visszafogottabbak a pörkölésből eredő jegyek. Testes, lágy, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Nagyon finom.
