Clear amber colour, not too much white head; aroma of grain, some minimal biscuit and alcohol; taste is dominated by alcohol and malty sweetness - unfortunately it does not have enough body for this high ABV

Deep dark brown colour, huge beige-ish head; aroma and taste of a typical stout; correct stout

Clear amber colour , one inch of creamy off-white head, which collapses unfortunately quite quickly; aroma of whishy and some biscuit; taste is similarly dominated by whisky notes - which is somehow artificial and exaggerated; not really good ale

Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours amber with a white head. Nice mellow oak/whiskey aroma. Med body. Flavor matches aroma, plus a touch of peat. Smoky, even. SAn Innis & Gunn sort of thing. Which I like.

brilliant appearance of darker amber colour and one inch off-white head - and this is the only the pro, unfortunately; regarding cons: both the aroma and the taste is ’empty’ - there is only some maltiness, alcohol and maybe some minimal whisky notes - I don’t know why the hell it is categorized as Barley Wine...

Dark gold color, thick creamy white head. Aroma weak caramel malts, minerals and some woody notes, no hops. Sweetish taste. Light bodied, soft carbonation. Rather thin, sadly uniteresting.

On tap. Black color with thick creamy brown head and nitro cascade. Aroma is caramellish with roasted malts and lots of licorice. Taste sweet with a sublte bitterness in the finish. Thick oily texture, no carbonation (nitro), medium to full body, not easy to throw down. So so.
