Left over 500ml can found in the fridge where I stayed in St Andrews. “Empty it” was the message. Pours a golden body topped by an one-finger, white head leaving fragile laceworks on the glass. This is a pale lager with little aroma and taste. Some lemony hints can be spotted with a bit a harsh acid flavoured water. Watery in the mouth. Little more than brief notes of refreshments [07.11.2008].

Half pint from keg at The Stag Inn, Falkland in Fife. Clear, dark brown body over an one-finger, nitro creamy head. Vague smell of sweet malts. Hints of caramel and nuts in the taste. Flashes of bitterness to the ending. Creamy smooth in the mouth. Alright as a partner to a ham & cheese sandwich [02.11.2008].

50 cL can. Pours unclear and dark brown with a semi fizzy and tan head. Sweet and malty aroma. Sweet malty flavoured with a distinct sweet caramel note. Sweet caramelish finish with a vague roasted accent. Sweet and nice, yet not with any real character.
