Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet with nice fresh bread character, very slight citrus notes, floral hops. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty well balanced finish, more biscuity malts, fresh bread. Tasty stuff.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours totally clear pale yellow with a small, creamy white head. Lightly sweet, pleasant restrained grapefruit, kiwi, pale bread and biscuits, light bitter lemon rind and straw. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more pale bread, lemony hops, mild pithy grapefruit. Very drinkable stuff.

Taster at home courtesy of Sander. amber hazy color small white head. smells hay, stone fruits, peachy, spices, earthy, grassy. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of marzipan, earthy, hay, lightly fruity, stone fruits, peachy, almost bretty, grassy, light tobacco. finishes quite balance with a very light sweetness and notes of peach, marzipan and light hay notes. very nice one, very good to drink, almost a bit too easy, good body, bordering on sweet, but very good balance, very nice mouthfeel. very good one.

Zitronenverbene (Aloysia citrodora) ist ein Strauch der Familie der Eisenkrautgewächse und hat außer dem Geschmack nicht viel mit dem klassischen Zitronenbaum zu tun. Einmal ein Radler, der komplett anders schmeckt ohne irgendeine abstruse chemische Mischung. Das Getränk ist wirklich gut erfrischend und läßt sich wirklich angenehm trinken. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist, dass es etwas wässrig rüberkommt und fast schon wie Zitronen-Mineralwasser wirkt. Erfrischung ja - Bier naja

Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear yellow with a small white cap. The aroma is sweet, toasty grains, hay, doughy white bread and cereal. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, doughy white bread, custard creams, toasty grain, cereal and grass with a drying, slightly peppery finish. Average body and fine carbonation. Simple, but effective. Drinks easy for sure.
