GABF 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and very grassy and also with notes of the alfaacid. The flavor has notes of grass, grapefruit, spices, and hops - going overboard and lending the beer an acidity from the hops and showing off the alfaacids.

Draft in San Clemente. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of hops and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, as well as lot of hoppy grass, leading to a rather bitter finish. Nice and refreshing.

On tap At O’Brien’s in San Diego on 08/01/2008 on the RBSG Friday Pub Crawl. Clear golden body with a small white head. Sweet citrus and resiny hop aroma. Fresh hop flavor, more citrus and floral hints.

From tap at San Clemente. Pours golden orange, clear, and with a lacing white head. Light peach fruity hops aroma. Flavour is solid grapefruit and pineneedle hops flavoured. A slight bit too much with a too vague malt presence to counterbalance this.

From tap at Carlsbad. Pours pitch black with a lacing tan head. Coffee and hardroasted malt aroma. Light chocolate note too. Flavour follows this with a nice chocolate malty base flavour. Lingering hoppy and roasted malt flavour into a dry and slight spiced finish.
