Waxed bomber indicating 19th Annual Strong Ale Fest (2015) from Corti Bros. Pours very dark brown with a very dark creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate, dates and bourbon. Treacle too. Fairly full bodied. Flavor pretty much matches the aroma, and it’s pretty earthy. Rather than dates I’ll just say darkish fruit. Tho not dry it’s drier than expected. A bit of whiskey floats in and out - but I’m thinking the barrels were not first use. Pretty nice stuff.

This was part of a sampler at the Carlsbad location. Loved this beer. Massive, awesome juicy fruit flavor. Clear and yellow-gold.

Modestly pale golden color. Fantastic nose of cereal malts and grassy hops. Slightly sour. Excellent take on a Czech pilsner. Modest aggressive bitterness, tons of grassy hops, somewhat earthy. Super quaffable. I rarely see this level of pilsner from the US but it just makes me realize how behind the US is for pilsners compared to Japan. This is top anywhere in the world. Super happy I went a bit out of my way home to try this on tap at Devil Craft Kanda.

Hazy gold white head. Intense resin and dank citrus aroma. Flavor is powerfully deep tropical citrus with resinous hops that could be described as dank, I guess. Full bodied. It’s only drawback is it’s kind if a one trick pony. If you like powerful one seaters this is your beer. Very good.

Sampled from the tap at the OB location. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has notes of tropical fruit, lemon and yogurt with sweet wheat backing. Flavor starts with tropical fruits but has a growing lemon and a light sweet wheat backbone.

Tap@Himmeriget, Copenhagen - black pour with tan head. Sweet and roasted malty aroma and taste with prominent coffee notes, caramel, some cocoa, nutty accents, coconut and vanilla caress into the close.
