Bottle split at the locked in tasting @CBJ Bermondsey, thanks to Leighton, 29/04/2026.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is dusty fruits, herb, umami.
Taste comprises fruit cake, spice, herb, soy sauce.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, drying close.
Decent enough sipper for the age on it.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is all big piney hop notes. Flavor is more bitter pine hops with some honey malt sweetness. Nice bitterness left on the tongue. Pretty straight forward old school IPA.
