12 oz bottle. Aroma shows caramel, peanut butter, chocolate syrup. The flavor is the same with light brownie batter. Not over the top sweet but rides that line. Fuller body with well hidden alcohol. That all said, still above average.

Black with a medium sized dark brown head that left decent lacing. Strong sweet nut & coffee aroma. Sweet nut, roasty malt and coffee flavor. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied.

12 oz. Aroma has notes of chocolate, peanut butter, almonds, faint raspberry. Pours like motor oil with brief tan foam that falls into nothing immediately. Taste is highly sweet, stopping short of cloying, with a moderately bitter backing. Flavors of all included adjuncts, including prominent raspberry that was faint in the nose. Softly carbonated creamy mouthfeel. Not amazing, but it's nice.

Black with a large fluffy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. Roasty and Woody with strong red wine & vanilla followed by hints of smoke, coffee and cocoa. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Tavour: pours black with beige head. Aroma is banana, maple, pastry dough, chocolate. Taste is sweet, loads of banana, not too pastry-stout-focused. Maple adds a good edge. Alcohol is well covered.

16oz can from Tavour. Black pour with a a one finger brown foamy head. Peanut butter leads the aroma, dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste is peanut butter cups, light roasty bitterness with the milk sugar adding a pleasant sweetness. All of these pastry stout flavors make the IPA hard to detect.

Black with a small foamy brown head. Strong rough vanilla presence with bitter, roasty malt and a floral hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.
Acceptable brown ales are few and far between! But adding flavor as in adjuncts and abv helps a lot! Hint hint Greig M. (With love). Pretty tasty but no surprise since listermann didn't put any of their aluminum lactose in this. Light and packed with flav
