Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours clear light copper with a 4 finger foamy/frothy off-white head. Lots of hop aroma- floral, pine, citrus. Med+ body. Flavor is mostly pine/citrus over some very smooth roast malt. Floral? Finish is sweet malt and grapefruit rind. Gotta be pretty balanced. Quite delicious.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours copper with a 3 finger creamy/bubbly light beige head. Yes, the aroma suggests a big kitty. Med + body. Flavor is slightly sweet caramel, but there’s a huge amount of hop. Grapefruit. Resin. Earthy. Floral. Jupiter. Just threw that one in for fun, cause there’s so much hop I doubt anyone can break out the flavor strands. If I die in a moment, I’m sure my innards will be well preserved. This is incredibly good and hoppy. That’s the finish. Brilliant effing ale.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours dishwater gold with a frothy/bubbly white head. I think the aroma actually is hibiscus. Weird. Med body. Flavor is belgian yeast/spice and arguably citrus, but there’s a weird herb/floral that seems hibiscus. With maybe a hint of tobacco and/or leather. This is astringent and dry. Who’d a thought a this.

Capped 750 at 7.1% from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours pretty black with a decent dark tan head. Aroma is sort of milk chocolate over some smooth burnt malt. Full bodied. Frothy carb. Flavor is smooth burnt malt with sort of darkish chocolate. There is some bitter that might be coffee. This is a bit complex - beyond my power of description - it is much tastier than most of this style. Maybe it goes a bit cacao in the end. Nice drink.

750. Pours a dark brown that lets some light shine through and supports a decent tan head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate with a little peat or something kind of earthy like that. Flavor is a little thin for an imperial (bottle says 7.1% and I believe that’s about right as there isn’t much ABV burn) but has a nice medley of dark and milk chocolate with a hint of dark fruit and a bit of earthiness. This is good stuff, but a little underfunded for the style in my opinion.

750 from Wine and Cheese Place. Oours a hazy golden orange with a fizzy head and lots of streams of carbonation coming to the surface. Aromas are really intense doughiness with butterscotch and herbs. Interesting, but we will see about how that butterscotch fits in... First sip reveals that... Yep... This works! I like it. Flavor is like the good combination of the stuff I talked about in the nose. Not like the several train wreck scenarios that played out in my imagination as I thought about it after writing it. It hits the palate a little bit sweet.a.. Almost honey sweetness, then it moves between butterscotch, bread dough, lemon zest and a very slight funkiness. This is a damn fine Saison in my book. Oh... And it makes me want to kill the shit out of unicorns...

First rating woot! Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma is cloves and a nice spicy hop. Flavor deffinatly has some dusty barnyard going on. This is followed by a decent spice, pepper and citrus fruit. Finish is a little sour. Good saison from a local brewer.

Pour is a copper with a average white head. Aroma is a nice pine hop with a decent malty backbone. Flavor is again a strong pine resin with the malts just right. Someone in my group commented that this tastes just like pine trees. A tasty and more that adequate IPA.

Pour is a almost clear yellow with a big white head. Aroma is grain and a bit of piney hops. Flavor is a nice wheat and again a nice hoppy backbone to follow. Finish does not leave much of and after taste. Its a really hoppy wheat. Now here is a brewer that took a regular wheat ale and did something different to it. I say Bravo!
