Bottle. Sour milk, cherry, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Reddish amber with minimal head. Lightly sweet cherry, light biscuit malt, mildly sour lactic acid, and moderately bitter bay flavor. Good body. Pretty good.

10 oz draft at the The Eagle Food and Beer Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is an opaque brown with a small tan khaki head. The aroma is raspberry, cocoa and coffee roast malt. The taste is nice blend of the raspberry tart fruit, the sweet cocoa and the roast coffee closing out. The palate is medium to heavy bodied with soft carbonation and a sweetish malt roast finish.

~16 oz willebecher draft at MadTree 1.0 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is a light haze golden with a 1/2 inch foamy white head. The aroma is saison herbal floral yeast, grapefruit citrus and general spice. The taste is the peppercorn and herbal yeast right away, followed by a bit of sweetness and finishing with citrus grapefruit. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and an herbal yeast finish. Decent.

12 oz can poured, with much thanks to Chris for the can. Sent straight from Cincinnati. Who Dey! Next time I fly out for a game, I might have to sit down at MadTree and have a few other beers of theirs. Golden amber color pour with a lasting foam head. Malt centered aroma, but mild. Flavor is a ton of biscuit and cracker like malt. Saltines, but with no salt. Maybe just a tiny bit. A toasty finish. Overall, a nice malt bill. Quite refreshing for such a malt centered ale here. Late hops add a subtle bitterness to pair, but the cracker malt is all that remains in the late palate. A tasty amber here. Easy to drink. Good beer.

Sampler at 8ball brewing. Dark colored beer, black. Chewy malts, not astringent, faint autolysis but good. A lightly big barleywine. Aroma is earthy, alcohol, dusty lightly brownie malts. Best beer I tried at 8ball, should have went to Madtree instead.

Bottle at the RateBeer DC Cider tasting. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was heavy woody tequila notes. Flavor was super tequila. I’m sure some people like it. Just not me.
