On tap at Apex, pours a rich dark amber / burgundy with a sliver of a beige head. Aroma brings out dark red fruits, toffee and subtle wine barrels. Flavour is rich, with lots of raisins and other dark fruits, gentle tartness, and lots of red wine notes that tend on the more liqueur side of things. Rich and sweet—a very English BW. Excellent.

Bottle pour @TreeRock. Endtrail, yeasty edition. Cloudy, pale honey pour. Doesn't look pretty. Smell is very very mellow chili oil & toasted honey. Taste is lush honey, very sweet, with a faded backdrop of Tabasco chilis. Very little itch in the throat, no obvious wine notes. Base chili mead is legit spicy, not this one Tis an old, already open bottle as well. Thick, viscous, boozy. Okay.
