Draft at ChurchKey for Night of the Living Ales: Part 3. Poured a slightly hazy amber color with a small white head. Aroma was notes of oak, touch of whiskey. Aroma was notes of dried fruits. Some funky tart and sour notes. pretty darn tasty.

On draft at ChurchKey DC during the Night of the Living Ales on halloween. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Bandaid nose. Flavors of tart apples and tart cherries with only the slightest hint of sherry. Very tart finish.

Sour Whiskey Porter on tap at Maxs...I’ll bite. Creamy and doughy, low carbonation. Wow, extremely excellent. Mild faint sour cherry notes under the creamy delicate body. Delightfully sessionable, this is a fantastic beer.

Glass at Beermongers. Pours a cloudy copper color with a medium white head. A big smoky and woody nose, vinous. The flavor is super complex, really two beers, but it works: smoky, sweet malty flavors, sweet almost sticky white wine. Unusual mix but damn nice.

Tap at Local Option, Chicago. Poured a deep mahogany with a round collar. The aroma is yeasty citrus sour. The flavour is medium sour with a big tart citrus raisin yeast acid palate. Wow this is an amazing beer that really grew on me over time.
